Since Trampolines were invented, acrobats have been pushing the envelope to jump the highest, furthest and longest. Here are some records that have been broken over the years:
Most Consecutive Somersaults
In September 2003, Brain Hudson broke the world record for the most somersaults done in a row on a Trampoline. He did an astonishing 3,333 flips at the Jumpers Rebound Centre in Gillingham. The previous record was 3,025.
Largest Trampoline Club
The Gillingham Jumpers, a Kent-based Trampoline club, is the largest in the world with over 1500 members.
Furthest Trampoline Slam Dunk
Trampolines aren't generally used in basketball, however in April 2007 Frenchmen Willy Martinon performed a forward flip slam dunk that measured 5.2 m (17ft 1 in).
