Trampoline stars needs to raise funds for World Championships

11 year old Henry Gregory, of Lincoln, is attempting to raise £1,500 in order to compete in next months trampoline world championships.

He has been selected for the under 15 age group after being number one seed in his category. The championships are taking place in Metz next month from the 16th to 20th, but they are all self-funded.

Henry is a ember of the Lincoln Imp trampoline club, who won victory in last years Boys National Championships at Birmingham's NEC. Henry was challenging others 4 years his senior and yet still swept to victory.

His family are doing all they can in order to raise the funds, including sponsored swimming, car boot sales and a disco.

He told the local media " "I couldn't believe it when I was told I had made it to the world championships," he said. I'm very nervous, but I just have to be confident and tell myself I can do it."

He is a great hope for a medal in the trampoline championships and so we wish him luck in getting there.
