Trampoline Storm Damage

Trampoline Blown over in Recent Storms

During the recent stormy weather lots of trampolines were blown over, like this one.  This could have been prevented if the owners had anchored down the trampoline using a trampoline anchor kit and had dropped the netting down to reduce the windage.

Fortunately, Atlantic Trampolines offer a full parts replacement service covering all the spare parts that are needed to repair a broken or damaged trampoline.    Nearly every part is available for our trampolines to buy individually and our parts fit many other makes of trampoline too.   Common parts that need replacing are the trampoline netting which goes around the enclosure and the trampoline enclosure poles themselves.    If the frame itself has been bent or broken then you can buy each section by itself but please check the frame very carefully so nothing is missed.  It would be dangerous to use a trampoline where the frame has suffered damage without replacing the necessary parts.   If you are unsure what you need then give our Trampo-line team a call on 0800 032 5879 and they will be delighted to help you.

It is always useful to check the size of your trampoline before ordering any parts.  You do this by measuring across the very centre of the trampoline mat from the outer edge to the opposite outer edge.  Try doing two measurements perpendicular to each other and make sure they are the same.  The measurement should be a number of whole feet.

If your trampoline is not one of ours please check the number of springs by counting the number of loops on the trampoline mat, this determines the total number of trampoline springs you need.  If any are missing then count how many more you need.   The length of spring is also important and you determine this by measuring the total length of one spring at rest, ie when it is not under tension.  Just lay it on the ground and measure it from the tip of one hook end to the tip of the other hook end.  You need this measurement in millimeters.

And when you order some new parts why not add a trampoline anchor kit to the list aswell to prevent the same thing happening again.  A trampoline cover is also a good idea as it enables you to store the netting and enclosure poles underneath it during stormy weather.
