Trampoline Poles

Trampoline with Bent Enclosure Poles

In  the recent stormy weather some garden trampolines have been damaged either from being blown over into a neighbouring garden or from simply the force of the wind against the enclosure netting.  It is advisable to lower the netting when high winds are forecast but sometimes this isn’t possible.  The enclosure net despite being made of a mesh can act as a sail and create significant windage.  A common point of damage is when the force of the wind bends the enclosure poles.  If you try to bend these back straight, because they are made of a hollow tube they will often snap or fracture.   Fortunately we sell replacement enclosure poles, either the top sections by themselves or both the upper and lower section of the pole together.   To separate the upper and lower trampoline pole sections lift the sleeve and protective padding on the pole just by a few inches so you can locate the small press stud.  If you depress the stud the two sections will come apart.

You may need to remove the pole fixings from the trampoline frame which will allow you to take off the lower section of the trampoline pole to enable you to fit the replacement.  You will need a small spanner to do this such as the one which was supplied with your trampoline when new.  We would recommend at this stage that you check the whole frame for any damage which might have been sustained in the storms

We sell packs of the safety net poles by themselves but this doesn’t include the sleeves, the padding or the pole top caps.   We can also supply replacement pole fixing kits if you need them.   If you also need these then you need to order them separately.

If the damage is extensive then the  enclosure net may have been torn or ripped.    It is imperative that you repair or replace this as a safety net with holes in will not be safe to use.  We also sell enclosure netting separately but because it is very specific to our own design of trampoline we do not make it available on our website.  To order the safety enclosure netting by itself please call us to order it so we can check first that it is appropriate for your trampoline’s design.

Once you have assessed what parts, and how many of them, you need then you may find it is cheaper to replace the whole safety enclosure.   Our safety enclosures will fit most makes of round trampoline and can provide a more economical solution if the damage to your trampoline safety enclosure is extensive.

Our trampoline poles are designed for our own range of trampolines but you may find they will fit your trampoline if it is another make but meets the same specification.  The netting poles are made of steel and galvanised for protection from rust.  If you have any questions or need more information then call our helpful team on the Trampo-line 0800 032 5879 who will advise you.
