The 2010 British Trampoline Championships at the NIA, Birmingham will see more than 700 athletes on Saturday and Sunday 24/25 July competing for the titles in Individual and Synchronized Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) and Tumbling, men and women.
Launched more than half a century ago, in 1958, these National Trampoline Finals have turned into the best showcase of the discipline, which made its Olympic debut in Sydney 2000 and enjoys continuous growth of popularity in the country.In 2008 D.M.T (Double Mini Trampoline) merged with trampolining and the two events have been competing alongside each other ever since. This year, the Championships will see also the dynamic and spectacular Tumbling Finals.
The Tumbling, DMT and Trampoline communities are strongly linked and the three disciplines will unite together at this years’ Championships as a pre-cursor to the 2011 World Championships which is to be held in the same venue in November 2011.
