Indoor Trampolining

We recently wrote about ‘House of Air’ in San Francisco where you could go and literally jump around all day in an indoor trampoline zone. It included a gym, dodgeball arena and much more.

It seems there are more and more of this kind in America where the obvious health benefits of trampolining have been matched with the fun element to create a safe and enjoyable to get fit.

Airheads is the latest place we have discovered, again in Florida, America.

They have created a fitness workout called Air-robics, developed by trainer Lindsay Johnston, comprising of a a 10-exercise circuit each lasting one minute, with a fifteen second break in between. What’s so great about this is not only do you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour, but you have a great tie doing so.

You don’t have to go to a fitness class though, you can walk-in for an ‘open jump’ session and do just that, bounce around on the trampolines and have fun. It looks really fun, and as more and more of these pop up, the more we think there is a need for one this side of the water..

Have a look at their video to really see what it’s like:
