Looking After Your Trampoline in the Snow
Our trampoline experts have had calls from many worried trampoline owners questioning how they should be looking after their trampoline in this freezing weather. Below are some tips to ensure that you can keep the bounce in your trampoline for as long as possible!
- Make sure your trampoline is covered with a trampoline cover. Not only will this keep your trampoline free from leaves, twigs and bugs, but it will most importantly keep off the rain and snow.
- If you do get a lot of snow falling on top of your trampoline cover, make sure you clear it off as soon as possible. This is due to the fact that the weight of the snow can damage the springs if left for long periods of time.
- All our trampolines frames are galvanised to prevent rusting meaning that they can be left outside when it is wet and frosty. But if you want complete peace-of-mind, why not store your trampoline in the house or garage over the winter. If you don’t have room to store it fully assembled, remember to clean and dry off the trampoline and all its parts before taking it apart to ensure that mould doesn’t grow while it is packed up.
